Background
Robert Hsu has been in the financial services industry for over 10 years. Before becoming a financial advisor, he worked at the largest Hilton worldwide, Hawaiian Village and Hilton Grand Vacations as a Revenue Manager and Accountant, which gave him a strong background in numbers, business operations, and financial planning.
Robert began his advisory career with Prudential Financial and Equitable
Advisors. Now with New York Life, he’s happy to say he’s found the right long-term home for his financial career. He also founded Pau Hana Benefit Solutions, a Medicare agency serving clients in Hawaii and Nevada. Robert focuses on helping individuals and business owners connect the dots between healthcare insurance, retirement planning, wealth-building strategies, and tax-efficient solutions.
Robert is a Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) qualifier and has earned multiple awards over the years. His goal is simple: help clients feel confident and supported on their path toward financial optimization. Clients often describe him as caring, transparent, and easy to work with.
Outside of work, Robert enjoys playing basketball, hiking, and has recently picked up pickleball and golf.

Community
Robert is passionate about giving back to the communities that shaped his career and his adopted home of Hawaii. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), where he sits on the Membership Committee, helping to grow and strengthen the organization's network of financial professionals across the state.
An active member of BNI (Business Network International) since 2017, Robert values the power of strong professional relationships built on trust and referral. In 2016, he founded the Taiwanese American Professional Hawaii Chapter, an organization connecting Taiwanese American professionals across the islands, and served as its President through 2016 and 2017.
Before transitioning into financial services, Robert spent years in Hawaii's hospitality and hotel industry, and he remains a dedicated supporter of Hawaii tourism and the local hospitality community. Outside of his professional life, Robert is an animal lover who is actively involved in supporting Hawaii's stray cat community. He lives with his wife and their senior cat, who round out a home built on the same care and loyalty he brings to his clients.
