Background
Born and raised on Oahu, Austin is proud to serve the Hawaii community he has always called home. A graduate of ‘Iolani School, he earned his degree in Finance from the University of San Francisco before returning to Hawaii to be closer to family and friends and to build his career in financial services.
Austin joined New York Life in 2021 and is an Adviser with Eagle Strategies LLC, a Registered Investment Adviser. He holds his FINRA Series 6 and 65 licenses and focuses on retirement planning for retirees and pre-retirees, to help clients grow and protect their wealth. Austin takes a thoughtful, relationship-driven approach to financial planning, recognizing that every client’s goals and circumstances are unique. His commitment to professional excellence has earned him membership in the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT)1 and qualification for New York Life’s Executive Council2 .
Outside of work, Austin enjoys golfing, traveling, staying active through fitness, and spending time with family, friends, and his cat, Honey.

Community
Austin believes that investing in the next generation is one of the most meaningful ways to give back to Hawaii's community. He enjoys sharing his passion for financial services by speaking to local high school finance classes, where he educates students on financial literacy, career opportunities within the industry, and the importance of building a strong financial foundation for the future.
Committed to helping students prepare for life beyond the classroom, Austin also mentors high school students through week-long job shadowing experiences, providing firsthand exposure to the financial services profession and helping them explore potential career paths. He has also volunteered his time conducting mock job interviews for graduating high school business students, helping them build confidence and develop the professional skills needed for their future endeavors.
